The Independence Police Foundation works closely with the Independence Police Department and community members to identify areas of additional need within our department to support the IPD and its officers and staff, as well as champion efforts to build a safe city and strong community for our city.

Our foundation was created by local stakeholders who love Independence, and want to make sure the people and places in our community are safe and strong.

By providing cutting-edge technology and equipment to our department and offering support to our IPD officers when they are dealing with struggles in their personal lives, we are building an ecosystem for success.
